CIS countries are supposed to elaborate the model Law on fascist ideology fighting. It was declared by V. Lytvyn on Wednesday in Saint Petersburg in his speech for the International parliamentary Conference dedicated to 65th anniversary of Great Patriotic War 1941-1945 Victory.
According to him, there are a lot of criteria for defining the significance and place of certain political event that is to be called historical one, and especially if it is evaluated in the world context or as a factor that influenced the historical process. V. Lytvyn declared that these criteria are insufficient for the evaluation of Great Patriotic War significance that has crossed the borders of the 20th century.
"One may consider it as a fighting for markets, contest of social-political systems, that it was imperialistic nonsense of certain leaders that deem themselves responsible for the destiny of the world. Though we should consider the fact it was for the first time the world faced ideological concepts that became of the state significance and we full of satanic, anti-human purposes with divergent ultimate types if physiological racialism that provoke death of not of several people by the whole nations. We should discuss it now as the life damped those threatening challenges down", - V. Lytvyn proclaimed.
"We, those countries and nations that suffered numerous terrible losses are forced today, in the period of celebration of 65th anniversary of Great Patriotic War 1941-1945 Victory to scrutinize the formation of the model law for CIS countries to counteract the fascism", the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada stated.
The Head of the Ukrainian Parliament noticed that in the course of war there were attempts "to destroy the spiritual substance and basis of national and social self-identity of our states, it was clearing of the living space for "pureblooded Aryans", when millions of people were forced to the labour migration. From the Ukrainian society, V. Lytvyn emphasised 2,4 people were sent to be slaves, and now someone tries to refute the obvious fact genocide of numerous nations"
"I suppose the answer to this question is universal and UNO documents contain it", he declared.
"The scientists are supposed to hold the discussion regarding the place and significance of the soviet people and republic in this war and speak about the participation of Soviet people in fighting fascism. The main fact is to be done here it is our common Victory", V. Lytvyn emphasised.
"We are totally against consideration of the Ukrainian people as passive victims of the war. There were divergent models of behaviors, of course there were panic, betrayals, but the main about my nation was its patriotism, readiness to sacrifice", he stressed.
The Soviet patriotism is not something different from the patriotism of each nation, that fight against fascists, though one speak over the protection of own homes and one of the protections of theI Motherland, according to V. Lytvyn.
V. Lytvyn also declared that consequences of the war for are country were estimated due to the different factors, "still according to the demographists data we lost approximately 12-13 million people. It is our sacrifice for the Victory."
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine emphasised that the majority of people fell their participation in this holiday. "Victory Day have always been and will be in our history for ever. But the history of war should be a matter of investigation for the scientist and not politicians."
"The world was rescued and significance of Victory was immense for the further development
of the world, all other discussions are of ideological burden", - V. Lytvyn
summed up.
As it was briefed before, Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stays Russian Federation on 6-8 April (Saint Petersburg City) and takes part in 34th Plenary Meeting of Interparliamentary Assembly of CIS Countries-Participants.
